What Books Do I Need To Read To Prepare For Geology?

Book
I am planning on taking Geological technology next year. I want to prepare for it earlier. I have already graduated high school, so I need to find some books from the library and start preparing.
What kind of books should I read? I didn’t take chemistry in grade 12 or 11…. so i dunno if i will be able to do well in my program next year.

Buy, or check out at the library, a copy of the book UNDERSTANDING EARTH by press and Seiver. it is probably the best Intro Geology book on the market; many Geology Departments use it for their 101 course. It will give you a big jump on your studies.

I suggest that you try again with chemistry. Without chemistry a lot of geology is difficult to understand.

You might want to pick up a used geology textbook and maybe a decent book on rocks and minerals
