- I don’t like books with like, animal characters.
-I don’t like books like the Uglies and stuff. Nothing about Vampires.
- Interesting, makes you want to keep turning the pages.
- Nothing too childish.
- Realistic, not things that can not happen in real life.

Sarah Dessen would be an author I’d recommend to you.
There are also these books that I quite like, they have drama, a little comedy and romance.

Maybe the Ruby oliver series by: E. Lockhart. It’s funny and realistic. i loved it! or anything by Sarah Dessen (e.i. Lock and Key, Along for the Ride, Just listen) or Meg Cabot (ei, All American girl, ready or not, princess diaries)

My friend is like you and she liked this book called Crank by Ellen Hopkins. It was about the problems of drug use I think. Way to not swoon over vampires like the everyone else.
